Sounds of the Week #18

November 18, 2015

Welcome back to Sounds of the Week, I’m going to try and pull this blog post out of hibernation and get back to sharing some of the musical inspirations floating around in my head and other Justseeds members when willing.

For this past week:

I’m a big fan of Townes Van Zandt, his 1969 album titled “Townes Van Zandt” has been on my turntable quite a bit lately.  I find it to be the best morning music at the moment.

In memory of Philthy Phil the drummer of Motorhead who recently passed I’ve been rocking out to some of this.

I recently saw Yob play in Madison.  They are always epic live, I’ve posted this album before but it’s worth reposting.  I find it a little more atmospheric than some of their other releases and I’m really liking that aspect of their sound right now.
