Community Supported Art: a powerful way to show your support for Justseeds

November 23, 2015
In 2015 we successfully launched our first Print of the Month club, in which club members received one print a month from a different Justseeds artist.  Artists and supporters were really excited about how the project went so we are bringing it back this year but with a bit of a new perspective as we look at this program as a sustaining piece of the work we do here at Justseeds. For 2016 we are starting our own CSA program: Justseeds Community Supported Art
Just like the CSA’s that deliver fresh vegetable to your doorstep during the warmer months and help keep the farm running, Community Supported Art will provide you with fresh and exciting new artwork every month of the year. Subscribers are helping Justseeds build capacity, supporting the work we do in support of social and environmental movements- and getting twelve amazing and exclusive original artworks!  For Community Supported Art 2016, twelve different Justseeds artists will create entirely new designs. CSA members will have three new prints shipped to their house in January, April, July, and October.
Becoming a member of Community Supported Art 2016 will not only get you some amazing artwork, but will help sustain the work we do at Justseeds. The money we raise through memberships will go to fund future projects and the day in, day out work we consistently do tying environmental and social justice issues to graphics and compelling art. You will also be supporting an organization that is 100% artist run/owned and collectively operated. Justseeds artists are the ones filling orders, answering your emails, organizing projects, and packing the prints that get sent to you.
With each print, you will receive a statement about the print from the artist, connecting you with the artist’s intention, inspiration, and backstory. Edition size will be limited to 50 maximum (we are only taking on 50 members at this time, if we have less than 50 members we may make a smaller edition). If we do have leftover prints those would sell individually on our site for a minimum of $25 each. If the artist chooses to reprint the image they will create a variation to keep this edition unique to CSA members.
Thank you for believing in what we do!
