Justseeds’ artists Jesus Barraza, Melanie Cervantes, and Josh MacPhee are all included in Get with the Action: Political Posters from the 1960s to Now, the new survey of political posters on display at SF MoMA. Although the show is small (a three wall nook), it’s densely packed with over four dozen posters. We’re in some great company, with posters from both the 1968 Harvard student strike and the 1972 Berkeley student strike, as well as prints and posters by Sister Corita Kent, the Black Panthers, OSPAAAL, Yolanda Lopez, Guerrilla Girls, the Silence=Death Project, and more. The show is organized in three rotations, and this first round should be up through November, so if you are in San Francisco, check it out, and let us know what you think!
