From A-Disc (the record label of the Swedish Labor Movement) to Zhongguo Changpian (the state label of the People’s Republic of China), this is a compendium of 230 record labels which produced political music between 1965 and 1990, the heyday of the vinyl record. Each entry features the logo of the label, and a brief synopsis of its history and any additional interesting information I could find. Truly international in scope, over two dozen countries and territories are represented, as well as a myriad of musical styles and forms.
