Help send Pangrok Sulap to Spain!

April 28, 2017

Pangrok Sulap is an activist print-arts collective based out of Sabah, Malaysia. They are an amazing group that does movement based art works with local communities, particularly on issues of ecology and sustainability. Pangrok Sulap were featured in Signal:05in our story on emerging political print collectives. The Pangrok Sulap crew is trying to raise money to get to Majorca, Spain, to the Traditional Tattoo and World Culture Festival. They plan on hosting an exhibit and workshops there, and are also hoping to organize workshops in Zurich, Berlin, and London while they are in Europe. 20% of whatever they raise will go back to build an art centre in the village of Kampung Sinarut Baru. They need support to do all this and it’s all happening really soon! Check out the video below and then visit their crowdfunding site here.
