A print inspired by queer ecologies, and the possibility models for human behavior that they show us by example.
This large scale screenprint was created as part of a remote visiting artist visit to Maine College of Art and Design in Spring 2021. I designed this print and Pilar Nadal and students printed it for me on a lovely heavyweight Stonehenge printmaking paper.
Two sweet fades of dazzle camouflage and flames, and some of my animal friends of the queer ecology multiverse, in inspiration from Bruce Bagemihl's Biological Exuberance: Animal Homosexuality and Natural Diversity.
