This is the third issue of my zine Youth Liberation Now. This issue is all about queer youth. What does it mean to be young and queer? How have young queer people fought back against oppression throughout history? Why is youth liberation necessary for queer liberation? Many different young queer voices (all 18 and under) explore these questions through essays, poetry, and collage.

This issue features beautiful hot pink and red risograph printed covers. The colors and design for these covers were inspired by my research into the psychedelic Vanguard magazine, a magazine produced by queer and trans street youth in the 1960s and 1970s.

“We stand in solidarity with our Palestinian siblings in Gaza and those among our community who are directly and indirectly affected by the current war and genocide by the Israeli settler-colonial regime. Passive observation of the horrors of bombings, genocide, and prolonged apartheid is not our way. We must rise and firmly proclaim that Palestinian Liberation is a Feminist Imperative.” – Feminists for Jina Seattle
