Badger Hanky

I designed and printed these badger bandanas as part of the Justseeds exhibition Uprisings: Images of Labor, at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in March 2013. Bandanas have long held connotations of solidarity with labor, particularly the red bandana, with its origins of labor association with the Battle of Blair Mountain in 1921, to current signification with migrant justice in the US and Canada.

These are heat set and ready to be broken in!

Currently available color:  black ink on “denim” fabric
