Portrait of Freda Huson, spokesperson of the Unist'ot'en village site of the Wet'suwet'en nation. Freda has been defending her territory, the yintah, at Unist'ot'en camp for over 10 years, against the foreign canadian police invasion and corporate oil industry. This portrait was initially shared online when Freda was arrested by Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 2020. She was in the middle of a ceremony for MMIW when RCMP forcefully took her and other land defenders, clearing the way for Coastal Gas Link pipeline workers.
