Another quote I collected after the election results were in, this time from an unlikely source -- the last of the so-called "Five Good Emperors" of Rome, and practitioner of Stoicism, Marcus Aurelius. I think his message is very relevant to social movements because as we try to organize for a future we all want, sometimes the path forward can be confused, and it may reveal itself through the unlikely and unexpected barriers we face.
